Quva and CAPS collaborate to maintain supply of
critical medications to U.S. hospitals.
SUGAR LAND, Texas and ALLENTOWN, Pennsylvania — September 8th, 2026 — QuVa Pharma, Inc. (“Quva”) and Central Admixture Pharmacy Services, Inc. (“CAPS”) today announced that Quva has acquired a range of essential medications from CAPS following CAPS’ decision to exit the 503B sterile compounding business. Quva expects to begin introducing selected products from the acquired portfolio in phases later in 2026 and to expand its offerings over the following six (6) months.
“We are proud to work with Quva, a recognized leader in 503B outsourcing manufacturing, to help ensure continued access to a number of essential medications,” said Michael Parden, Chief Executive Officer of B. Braun of America. “Products such as Cardioplegia, Total Parenteral Nutrition and Heparin play an important role in patient care, and this transition supports continuity of supply for the patients and providers who depend on them. We also appreciate Quva’scommitment to providing employment opportunities for CAPS colleagues currently supporting our local 503B sterile compounding operations.”
Operating from more than 200,000 sq. ft. of FDA-registered 503B manufacturing facilities in New Jersey and Texas and 100,000 sq. ft. of forward distribution centers in Texas and Arizona, Quva serves more than 3,500 hospitals and health system customers nationwide with its broad portfolio of sterile compounded medications manufactured under rigorous quality standards.
“We appreciate the opportunity to partner with CAPS to maintain the supply of these critical medications,” said Stuart Hinchen, Chief Executive Officer of Quva. “Health systems depend on prepared medications that are essential to patient care but difficult to produce reliably at scale. This acquisition reflects our commitment to investing in the specialized products, manufacturing capabilities, quality systems, distribution infrastructure, technology, and people needed to support these critical medication categories. We look forward to working with CAPS and our health-system customers to maintain supply and build more dependable solutions for the future.”
